I recorded this EP in the middle of a field in my hometown of Great Barrington, MA around 11pm - everything is completely improvised. It was the first time I had truly felt present in almost 2 years. There were a million stars out that evening-it looked like someone threw glitter against a black board; It was breathtaking. Crickets singing along with me, sometimes rhythmically. The nostalgia of laying in the soil I grew up playing in. The idea behind this record was capturing the essence of that magical evening in my hometown. This is what that felt like.
